Itinerary

DAY 1.Helsinki.You are met on arrival in Helsinki, and taken to your hotel. Enjoy an afternoon and evening at leisure to relax or explore the city.Accomodation Hotel Kamp
 
Day 2.Helsinki.Your three‐hour tour this morning covers the highlights of the city including Senate Square, designed in the neoclassical style by Carl Ludvig Engel in the mid 1800’s. It’s surrounded by the Government Palace, the main building of the University, the enormous Helsinki Cathedral and Sederholm House, the oldest stone building in Helsinki. 
 
See the Presidential Palace, the Parliament building and the modern City Hall and Finlandia Hall. Visit the monument for Finnish composer Jean Sibelius, and tour Temppeliaukio Church, quarried out of the natural bedrock with a design that gives it excellent acoustics."
 
Day 3-5.Ivalo.you will take a short domestic flight to Ivalo, inside the Arctic Circle. Here you will find Kakslauttanen, a perfect base to enjoy a multitude of active adventures in the winter or summer.Spend three nights here.Kakslauttanen is famous for its Glass Igloos, where you can spend a night and hopefully see the Northern Lights. Seen from late August to April, it is something you will not forget (although do note that they don’t appear every night). The Glass Igloos are split between East and West Village and come with simple bathrooms (some have showers) and basic furnishings. Lie back and look up! Some guests like to retain a log-cabin at the same time so you can leave bags and have access to a hot shower when you want.Accomodation Kakslauttanen
 
Day 6.Stockholm.This morning you are taken to the airport for your flight to Sweden. On arrival in Stockholm, you are taken directly to your hotel in the center of the city. Stockholm is very scenic, with shimmering waterways and a myriad of bridges connecting the 14 islands that make up the city. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax or explore.Accomodation Grand Hotel Stockholm
 
Day 7.Stockholm.Today enjoy a panoramic tour of this 700‐year‐old city. Visit the wealthy Ostermalm District, the central city areas of Hötorget and Sergel Plaza, and the Renaissance‐styled Royal Palace. Explore the Kungsholmen district with its 18th to 20th century buildings, including City Hall, where the Nobel Prize Award dinners are held. Next, drive to the southern shore of Saltsjön island for a view of the city from the top of picturesque Fjällgatan Street. Continue to Stockholm’s charming Old Town, “Gamla Stan,” to enjoy a short stroll along the charming cobblestoned streets
 
Day 8.Copenhagen.Take a private transfer to the railroad station to catch your high-speed train to Copenhagen. Upon arrival, you will be met and taken to your hotel.Accomodation Hotel D'Angleterre
 
Day 9.Copenhagen.Embark on a half-day guided tour of the cosmopolitan, chic Danish capital. As you travel through the city, visit palaces, civic landmarks, famed statues and the old harbor of Nyhavn. This afternoon, continue your explorations on your own or take an optional four-hour culinary walking tour of Copenhagen or a three-hour private biking tour with a private guide who will introduce you to the lesser-known highlights of the city.
 
DAY 10.Oslo.This morning you are taken to the airport for your flight to Norway. On arrival in Oslo you are met and taken directly to your hotel. Oslo is a modern, international city, with a thousand years of rich history waiting to be explored.Accomodation Grand Hotel
 
Day 11.Oslo.Meet your local guide for a tour of Norway’s capital, including the Viking Ship museum; the polar expedition ship, the M/S Fram; and the outdoor Vigeland Sculpture Park. This afternoon, do some more exploring on your own.
 
Day 12.Oslo.Today you are taken to the airport for your departing flight and on to your next destination

The best time to visit is  Decemeber-May.The winter temperatures can vary anywhere between 0°C and -40°C. The average temperature in January is -14°C. But the cold is not biting because air is dry. There can be as much as one metre of snow and it usually lasts until May.
