When to Visit: As a year-round travel destination, any time is a good time to visit the Golden State of California. Most people tend to visit in the summer (mid June through August) but it’s worth bearing in mind that spring (March to May) can be just as appealing, temperatures may not be as hot but they are comfortably warm and you’ll find the flora and fauna bursting into life following the cold winter. Autumn (September through October) is another pleasant time to visit – especially if you’re considering the wine regions - San Francisco enjoys some of its sunniest days at this time.
