Thailand's Hidden Secrets(Bangkok, Khao Sok, Khao Lak, Yao Noi)

Itinerary

Day1-2.Bangkok. Your trip will start in Bangkok where you will stay at The Peninsula Hotel located on the riverside giving you great views of the river activity. During your time in Bangkok you can explore the city in a number of ways, but one of the best is by bicycle. You can explore the back streets which aren’t accessible by car, take in the contrast to the more cosmopolitan side of Bangkok, visit some local factories and then cross over to a wealthier more suburban area between a meander in the river.Acomodation The Penninsula

Day3-4.Khao Sok.Your next stop is Elephant Hills Tented Camp in Khao Sok, which admittedly isn't for the faint hearted but if you like the outdoors and getting close with nature, you will love it! You will spend your first night at the main camp just outside the national park and your second night on a floating tent on Cheow Larn Lake. During the day your activities consist of elephant encounters, canoeing along the river, swimming in the lake, trekking into the rainforest and more. It really is an action packed adventure! The tents are basic but perfectly comfortable and food is delicious. There are no private tours, the activities are conducted on a small group basis but this means you can meet other like-minded guests.Accomodation Elephant Hills Tented Camp

Day5-6.Khao Lak.After a busy few days in Khao Sak you will make your way to Khao Lak in the Phang Nga province in the south of Thailand for some respite. However, if you're still in adventurous mode you can make the most of the local landscape for some activity. The National Parks provide ample opportunity for some scenic treks and the Similan and Suring Island National Marine Parks are just an hour away by boat. There are some great opportunities for snorkelling, rock climbing and cooking classes too.Accomodation The Sarojin

Day7-9.Phang Nga,Your trip will end at Six Senses Yao Noi which is an outstanding resort; you will find it hard to match. The views here are some of the most dramatic you will ever see – panoramic views of the limestone karsts jutting out of the sparkling sea is really something. Setting an alarm to get up to watch sunrise from the Hilltop Reserve is a must! There is very much a barefoot luxury element here, authentic materials have been used to create the facilities, rooms have a very natural feel to them and there is a great sense of relaxation. You can spend your days by your private pool on the deck or you can enjoy a number of activities. Explore the nearby isles of Phang Nga Bay National Park by either speed boat or longtail boat for a more leisurely pace; you can make a day of it by stopping for a deserted island picnic. The snorkelling around Phi Phi island is simply fantastic.Accomodation Six Senses Yao Noi

Day 10.You will be transferred to Phuket airport for your next flight home.

VIP Experience

The Penninsula. The Peninsula Bangkok has a prime location on the banks of Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River. Its unique wave shaped design not only makes it a distinct architectural addition to the Bangkok skyline, but enables all rooms to have uninterrupted views of the river below. All the rooms at the hotel are amongst the largest in Bangkok and are not only designed with timeless elegance but have pioneering guest room technology installed to keep them bang up to date. Rooms range from deluxe to those with balconies to opulent suites with panoramic terraces and outdoor Jacuzzis and each floor of the hotel has a butler ready to attend to guests' needs.

Elephant Hills Tented Camp.Elephant Hills is located in Khao Sok in Southern Thailand, and is the oldest evergreen rainforest in the world. It is situated between Phuket, Khao Lak and Krabi to the south, and Koh Samui to the east. You will find lush jungles, stunning vertical limestone mountains, hidden lakes and a wide variety of flora and fauna. In short, it is the perfect destination for a little soft-adventure in between visiting Bangkok and the Southern beaches. It isn't for everyone, but if you like getting outdoors and into the jungle, then Elephant Hills is your answer.Elephant Hills Tented Camp comprises two separate camps; the first is the main camp, located just outside of the National Park. It has 30 tents surrounding a main communal dining area where guests mingle after their adventures and for meals. The tents themselves are simple - so please don't expect an African style luxury camp. They do, however, offer everything you need - they come with en-suite bathrooms providing hot showers, comfortable beds, hand-crafted furniture and the tents are protected from the obligatory bugs that thrive in the jungle. They aren't air-conditioned, but do have fans that keep you cool at night. The chorus that only a jungle can provide will sing out in all its glory at night - you do feel like you are away from it all.

The Sarojin. The Sarojin is a stylish, boutique property located on a gorgeous white sandy beach in a national park area just 10 minutes north of Khao Lak town. It is quite a flat resort with a lovely stretching lush lawn at the centre of it. There are no buggies as everything is within walking distance. Children under the age of 10 are not allowed at The Sarojin, meaning that this multi-award winning hotel always has a calm and peaceful atmosphere, even in busy school holidays.56 Residences are housed in seven separate two storey buildings. The 28 Garden Residences are on the ground floor of each building and have Thai lounge salas and outdoor terraces. The 14 Pool Residences are on the ground floor and have large gardens with plunge pools. The 14 first floor Sarojin Suites have spacious separate living areas and outdoor terraces with bath pools. Careful design at The Sarojin allows maximum space and privacy and the colour palette is soft and modern.
