DAY 1:LIMA.A warm A&K welcome and transfer to hotel.Accomodation Belmond Miraflores Park Hotel
DAY 2:LIMA.This morning touring begins at the Plaza Mayor, the official centre of the city. See the 16th Century cathedral, an architectural marvel, and the Presidential Palace before driving through modern Lima to the fascinating Larco Herrera Museum, which houses one of the largest private collections of pre-Inca ceramics in the world.
Day 3: Lima - Sacred Valley.Fly* to Cusco and travel by road into the Sacred Valley, full of archaeological sites, Inca terraces and colonial churches. Visit Awanakancha, where South American camelids including llamas, alpacas, guanacos and vicuñas are bred. Learn about the renowned fibres created from their fleeces, as well as ancient weaving techniques which are still used today.Accomodation Hotel Sol y Luna
Day 4: Sacred Valley.This morning visit the massive fortress of Ollantaytambo, a formidable stone structure which was the site of the Incas' greatest victory against the Spanish. Continue to the Kuychi Centre, created to support the Children of the Rainbow project. Lunch today is at Hacienda Huayoccari. Afterwards head to the Inca market town of Chinchero. Visit the weaving workshop of Nilda Callañaupa Alvarez, a native of Chinchero, who has worked hard with local women to preserve the traditional Andean themes and techniques of weaving. Day 5: Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu.Transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station and board the Vistadome train to Machu Picchu where a late morning arrival gives you time to begin your explorations of this breathtaking Incan citadel with your guide.Accomodation Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel
Day 6: Machu Picchu - Cusco.Enjoy a hike with your guide. Later board the Hiram Bingham luxury train to Cusco with gourmet dinner included on board .Accomodation Inkaterra La Casona.
Day 7: Cusco.This morning enjoy a city tour which includes the Cathedral on the Plaza de Armas and the Santo Domingo Temple or Koricancha, a Dominican Church and convent built on the foundations of the Inca's principal religious building, dedicated to sun worship. You also visit the ruins of Sacsayhuaman outside of Cusco, a testimonial to Incan architectural skills. This ancient fortress where the greatest battle between the Spanish and Incas took place overlooks the red-tiled roofs of Cusco and spectacular countryside
DAY 8-10.Cusco-Buenos Aires.Our mid-day flight takes us to Buenos Aires, the mesmerizing capital of Argentina.Our time here is enlivened by stunning architecture, intriguing markets, amazing food, and, of course, the nation’s cultural passion – the tango. We’ll enjoy a memorable dinner and tango show, where you will relive the history of the tango in an environment that awakens your every sense. We conclude our morning with a private backstage tour of the Teatro Colon, the main opera house in Buenos Aires, considered to rival the beauty and acoustics of Milan’s La Scala.Accomodation Alvear Palace Hotel or Similar

Day 12: Iguazu.Today is spent on the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls, where travellers get close up to the thundering torrent. Walk through the jungle to a catwalk for dramatic views

Day 14: Rio de Janeiro.Take in the sights this morning including a cable car ride up Sugar Loaf, Guanabara Bay and the city's legendary golden beaches. After a typical Brazilian BBQ lunch visit the Statue of Christ the Redeemer with time to explore the bohemian Santa Teresa with its colonial architecture and artist's studios
Day 14: Rio de Janeiro.Free day at Rio de Janeiro.
Day 16: Depart Rio de Janeiro.Your journey ends with a transfer to the airport
