DAY 1: Rio de Janeiro.Upon arrival at the airport, you are met by an representative after which you are transferred to your hotel.Accomodation Belmond Copacabana Palace Hotel or Similar
 
DAY 2: Rio de Janeiro.In electrifying Rio de Janeiro, we will marvel at the wonder of Christ the Redeemer standing over the city and take in the vast expanse of Rio stretching out beneath us. A panoramic drive takes us past the glamorous, sun-drenched beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a cable car ride to the summit of Sugar Loaf Mountain for breathtaking city and ocean views.We will end the evening with an exciting showcase of Samba, the iconic Brazilian tradition with deep African roots.
 
DAY 3&4: Iguazu Falls.After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport to board a flight to Iguazu Falls this afternoon.Our lavish hotel here is the only one inside the 0Brazilian Iguazu National Park. After lunch at our hotel, enjoy a breathtaking look at the falls on a thrilling helicopter ride. We will explore the Brazilian side of the falls on a leisurely walking tour. A morning drive takes us to the Argentina side of the falls where we board a gas-propelled train to view the highlight of Iguazu Falls, the Devil’s Throat. Day 5: Iguazu Falls/Manaus.Fly to Manaus. Spend the remainder of day at leisure exploring the city.Accomodation Tropical Ecoforest
 
Day 6: Manaus/Amazon River.Embark on a city tour, visiting Teatro Amazonas and the Adolpho Lisboa Municipal Market. Attend a welcome party on board your river cruiser.Accomodation Iberostar Grand Amazon
 
Days 7-8: Amazon River.Cruise the stunning Amazon River, watching for wildlife such as parrots, monkeys and anacondas during photo safaris. Fish for piranhas, and relax on deck while taking in the lush setting.
 
Day 09: Amazon River/Manaus/Salvador.Today you are transferred to the airport for your flight to Salvador, birthplace of Brazilian culture.Accomodation Villa Bahia
 
DAY 10: Salvador.Today enjoy a full day tour Salvador, starting with the Old Town (Pelourinho), a UNESCO Heritage Site, and the largest area of colonial architecture in South America. Ride on the scenic Lacerda Elevator, to get wonderful views of the lower city as well as Sao and Francisco Church.In the afternoon, learn the cultural significance of the Afro-Brazilian religion Candomble to Brazil
 
DAY 11: Salvador.Explore the colorful São Joaquim Market, the largest open market in Bahia, selling a myriad of items from produce to spare appliance parts to sacred herbs and religious Candomblé artifacts. Remaining day at Leisure.
 
DAY12: Transfer to the airport and board your homebound flight.

When to Visit: February/March: The world-famous Carnival (40 days before Easter) in Rio and Salvador with flamboyant all-night music and dance parades. June-October: For excellent surfing on the south coast. September to March: The Iguaçu Falls are at their most exuberant. October: Cirio d Nazaré, the largest religious festival in Brazil where a statue of the Virgin Mary is paraded through the streets in a twoweek long festival. December 31: Celebrate New Year in Rio - party central! Weatherwise: Brazil is an expansive country, with huge temperature variations from north to south. The Amazon jungle is best May to July, Rio de Janeiro from September to May and the northeast, season from mid-April to September.
