Itinerary

DAY 1: Arrive Beijing 'Huan Ying' Welcome to China.Upon your arrival, our guide will meet you and transfer you to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or explore the city on your own. Tonight enjoy a delicious Indian dinner at a local restaurant.Accommodation: The Waldorf Astoria Beijing  or Similar.
 
DAY 2: BEIJING.After Breakfast, depart from hotel in the morning to visit Tian'anmen Square, the largest urban square and Forbidden City, the largest and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. Then visit Temple of Heaven Which stands the color of sky. You feel the perfect harmony between the architecture and nature and a circle and peace spirit of Chinese people. You even could imagine the vivid pictures of a great sacrifice to the Heaven for good harvest through the description of local guide. Dinner at Indian Restaurant.
 
DAY 3: BEIJING.In the morning we visit the unforgettable tour to the world famous Great Wall of China first and Ming Tombs (Changling Tomb), the once lavish burial chambers of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty. Then Visit the outside view of National Stadium. Dinner at Indian Restaurant. 
 
DAY 4: Beijing-Xian.Meet your driver for a train station transfer.Transfer from Beijing to Xi'an via the high-speed Bullet Train. The train ride is approximately 6 hours.Upon your arrival, our guide will meet you and transfer you to the hotel.Accommodation: Shangri-La Hotel, XiÂ’'an or Similar Transfer from Beijing to Xi'an via the high-speed Bullet Train. The train ride is approximately 6 hours.
 
DAY 5: XI'AN.After enjoying your breakfast visit the world famous Terra Cotta Warriors. It was discovered in 1974 and considered one of the eight wonders in the world.Enjoy a leisure visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, where you will also see the magical colorful and musical fountains which will leave you in awe. Tonight enjoy a delicious Indian dinner at a local restaurant.
 
DAY 6: XI'AN - SHANGHAI.Meet your driver for an airport transfer.Fly from Xi'an to Shanghai. Flight time is approximately 2 hours.Upon arrival, our guide will meet you and transfer you to the hotel.Accommodation: The Peninsula Shanghai or Similar"
 
DAY 7: SHANGHAI.After breakfast take half day trip to Shanghai Museum. As one of the three most important museums in China, it has a big collection of bronze wares. After lunch you will visit Yu Garden (Yu Yuan),Oriental TV Tower and the Old Street. In the evening, you will enjoy a fantastic acrobatic performance.
 
DAY 8: SHANGHAI.Depart Shanghai.After breakfast you will be transfered to the airport and take flight back home.

Weatherwise: China has enormous variations in climate, but in general, spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October) are the best times to visit. Try to avoid national day holidays on May 1 and October 1 when the Chinese travel over the week long period.
