The Ice Hotel and Treehotel.(Kiruna and Harads)

Itinerary

Day 1-3.Kiruna.After your arrival at Stockholm you will take a next flight to Kiruna.Spend three nights here. The first stop of this once in a life time adventure is the Ice Hotel located in the very north of Sweden in a small village called Jukkasjärvi - home to 1100 inhabitants and 1000 dogs! Remodelled each year from ice blocks garnered from the river Thorne, ice sculptors are hand picked to design an art suite each. They spend weeks mastering their sculptures using "snice" - an art that involves creating a cement from ice and snow, and welding it together with water which turns to ice fusing the structures together. You can really get a taste of life in Lapland with husky-sledding, horse treks, snowmobiling, meeting the Sami people who are indigenous to Lapland, and of course, searching for the Northern Lights.Spend one night in the Ice Hotel's beautiful cold accommodation and then either move to one of their warm chalets, or continue your adventure to one of their wilderness camps.Accomodation Ice Hotel

Spend the night perched high in the canopy of the forest of Harads and expect incredible sunrises and sunsets from one of the six uniquely designed rooms. A warm and homely welcome at Britta’s Pensionat will be waiting for you as well as delicious food, traditional Swedish fare, and a wonderful variety of winter activities ranging from relaxing in the tree sauna to action-packed speedy horse-pulled skiing!Accomodation Treehotel

Best Time to Visit:
The best time to visit Stockholm is in the summer — albeit the city's priciest season — because the temperatures are warmest and daylight lasts up to 24 hours. Average summertime highs range between 68 and 71 degrees Fahrenheit, with the hottest weather occurring in mid-July. It's important to bring layers, however, as temps can sometimes drop by 10 to 20 degrees at nighttime. The fall and spring seasons are chillier with high 50s and 60s. Winters in Stockholm tend to be extremely cold but are ideal for travelers interested in winter sports or a picturesque Christmastime getaway.
